Halima Abubakar is blowing hot on Instagram and she has threatened that her revelations are likely to crash marriages.

The actress began by calling out those who accuse her of bleaching and shame her for the colour of her knuckles.

She said she suffered a domestic accident on her hands, laps, and feet 7 years ago.

She added that everything is not bleaching and even if she were bleaching, it's no one's business.

“Anele was not suicidal nor did she commit suicide" - Father of AKA's fiancĂ©e says at her funeral service

?Anele was not suicidal nor did she commit suicide" - Father of AKA

Prominent South African businessman and Anele “Nelli” Tembe's father, Moses, has set the record straight on circumstances surrounding her death.

?Anele was not suicidal nor did she commit suicide" - Father of AKA

It would be recalled that the 22-year-old, who was engaged to rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, died on Sunday morning, April 11, after apparently falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. Read HERE

?Anele was not suicidal nor did she commit suicide" - Father of AKA

Nellie is being laid to rest at the Durban International Conference Centre on today, Friday April 16. Her body has arrived in Durban on Thursday.

The funeral service is currently being streamed on YouTube for fans and friends to pay their last respects.

A letter from Moses was read out by businessman Sandile Zungu, who said the letter was a reflection of a “heartbroken father”.

"As Anele's father, I categorically state that Anele was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide. We must as a matter of priority deal with the scourge that bedevils our youth. Alcohol which is overused and drugs. Fellow South Africans we better wake up and smell the coffee, we have a serious problem with substance abuse.” he wrote.

“I cannot allow an unfortunate narrative to go unchallenged, a narrative that irks me to no end ... that is 'Anele was chronically suicidal'. All I can say is, until Anele turned 21, not a single member of her family, my family would have associated her with suicide.”

?Anele was not suicidal nor did she commit suicide" - Father of AKA

He said Anele's wish was to fall in love and marry the man who would become the father of her children, adding that they differed on the direction she should take in her life but he stood by her.

Moses said he was happy for her when she introduced him to Kiernan and suggested they go for proper premarital counselling.

"I knew Kiernan loved my daughter but their companionship needed more than love. It had to be premised and embedded on a Godly foundation.”

He said he was proud to be Anele's father.

"Anele made me happy as a father, very happy. Anele was feisty, strong-willed some might say. She was single-minded in her pursuits, what others would uncritically call stubborn. Anele never minced her words, an attribute that would perturb her siblings, which she balanced by giving her absolute best to those around her."

"In my deepest desire that my girl live to be who she wanted to be, I nurtured these Anele traits. For I truly believed that she had needed guidance rather than repression, persuasion rather than brute force,” he said.

Lai was among nine of Hong Kong's most prominent democracy campaigners found guilty of organizing and participating in one of the city's biggest-ever protests in 2019.

Jimmy Lai, 73, the founder of Apple Daily is a fierce critic of Beijing. He faces eight charges in total, including collusion with a foreign country and a fraud case related to the lease of the building which houses Apple Daily.

Earlier this week, Mr. Lai's Apple Daily newspaper published a hand-written letter by him, sent from prison, which read: "It is our responsibility as journalists to seek justice. As long as we are not blinded by unjust temptations, as long as we do not let evil get its way through us, we are fulfilling our responsibility."

5-year-old Christian girl allegedly abducted, forcefully converted to Islam and married off to abductor in Katsina State

A 15-year-old Christian girl identified as Aisha Mani has been allegedly abducted, forcefully converted to Islam and married off to her abductor at Gidan Dandada Rafin Iyaka, in Sabuwa Kasa Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State.

In a report published by the Hausa Christian Foundation (HACFO) on Thursday, April 15, 2020, the conversion and marriage was said to have been carried out by the District Head of Kafur.

According to the report, Aisha went missing from home on 10th February, 2021. Two days later, her parents received a call from the District Head of Kafur telling them to stop searching for Aisha because she is safe with him in his house.

He claimed that one Idris Shehu brought her to his house. Aisha’s family went to see the District Head at his palace in order to bring their daughter back home but he refused to release her on the ground that she wanted to convert to Islam.

Ten days later, the District Head called Aisha’s parent to tell them that one Mohammed Sama'ila wants to marry Aisha their daughter but they rejected the proposal.

However, the District Head went ahead to arrange the marriage between Aisha and Mohammed Samaila without the consent and approval of Aisha’s family. Read full report below:

Rafin Iyaka Sabuwar Kasa, Kafur LGA of Katsina State is a mixed community of both Christian and Muslim Hausas, but the Christians continued to live in pains and bondage perpetrated by the Muslim side that constantly enjoys the protection of the District Head of Kafur and the Emir of Katsina.

These two Islamic traditional rulers do everything possible to stop the constitutionally recognized law enforcement agencies like the Police from rightly carrying out their statutory duties. That is why any crime committed against the Christians will always be swept under the carpet.

Due to the previous experiences of the Christian community of Gidan Dandada Rafin Iyaka on the abduction and forceful conversion of their young girls which Aisha happens to be the 9th person, the Family of Aisha didn’t hesitate to report some strange moves of one Mohammed Samaila around their 15 year old daughter to their village head.

As usual, the said Mohammed Samaila and his father kept denying having anything to do with Aisha. These strange moves continue for about two years and the village head was not willing to take any action against the said Mohammed Samaila. When the family of Aisha could no longer tolerate what they were seeing, they decided to relocate Aisha from the village Gidan Dandada Rafin Iyaka, to Funtua for Aisha to be staying with her elder sister.

On 10th February, 2021, Aisha went missing from the house where she stays. When the elder sister and her husband searched everywhere possible but they could not locate Aisha, they quickly reported it to the Funtua Police Station to help them find Aisha.

Two days later, on 12th February 2021, Aisha’s Parents received a call from the District Head of Kafur telling them to stop searching for Aisha because she is safe with him in his house. He claimed that one Idris shehu brought her to his house. On hearing that, Aisha’s family went to see the District Head of Kafur at his palace in other to bring their daughter back home, but to their dismay, it was not possible. He refused releasing her on the ground that she wanted converting to Islam. Aisha’s Parents insisted but the District Head refused them access to their Daughter.

Ten days later, the District Head called Aisha’s parent to tell them that one Mohammed Sama'ila wants to marry Aisha their daughter. When Aisha’s Parents went to the District Head’s palace, they rejected the issue of the marriage. They insisted their daughter to be returned to them and continue with her school and if anyone wants to marry her, he should follow the due process. The District Head ignored Aisha’s Parents and went ahead to arrange marriage between Aisha and Mohammed Samaila without the consent and approval of Aisha’s Family.

When Aisha’s Family did everything possible and peaceful for Aisha to be returned to them and they were ignored and humiliated, they decided to engage the services of a law firm; A. U. Ajodo & CO. Legacy Chambers to help them bring Aisha back.

The Law Firm immediately wrote a petition against the District Head ( Alh. Abdulrahman Rabe and Mohammed Sama'ila to the Katsina State Commissioner of Police through the Malumfashi Area Command demanding for the immediate arrest, investigation and prosecution of these two suspects and the immediate release of Aisha back to her Family.

Unfortunately, the Police did not arrest these two culprits or did anything to ensure the return of Aisha. They only summoned the District Head of Kafur without the said Mohammed Samaila. The Area Commandant told the District Head not to go ahead with their marriage plans between Aisha and Mohammed Samaila, but the district head ignored it.

They later agreed for the girl to be brought to the police station and be returned back to her family but the District Head refused to comply. Instead, he decided to take the Girl to the Emir of Katsina at Katsina on that same day he was to bring the girl to the police station. On reaching there, the Emir of Katsina joined Aisha and Mohammed in marriage without the consent of her parents.

As it is now, the Katsina state police command are not willing to carry out their statutory duties as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution and ensure justice is done.

It is very important to note that this is not the first time such a thing is happening. The said District Head of Kafur is known with such criminal acts right from the time of his late father. When his father was on the throne, he was involve in supporting the abduction and forced marriage of many Hausa Christian Girls.

The village of Gidan Dandada Rafin Iyaka, Sabuwar Kasa, Kafur LGA, Katsina State has suffered such unjust treatments from the District Head of Kafur who is also backed by the Emir of Katsina. Till date a total of nine Hausa Christian Girls have been abducted, forcefully converted to Islam and forced into early marriage. The following are the names of the Girls that were abducted, forcefully converted to Islam and forced into marriage from this village of by the same District Head of Kafur:

1) Jamima Solomon

2) Christiana Mamman

3) Deborah Habila

4) Phoebe Dankano

5) Rifkatu Markus (Rescued)

6) Saratu Isah (Returned her when she went mad after two years)

7) Dije Yakubu Nalami (Abducted as a married woman, and returned when she died)

8) Rebeccah Ado (Returned Pregnant)

9) Aisha Mani (Currently in captivity)

It is on record that any time this Christian Community agitates against the injustice done to them, the Muslim youths will violently go after them and threaten to burn down the Church and houses of the Christians.

The Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) is working tirelessly to ensure the safe and unconditional return of Aisha Mani and to ensure that justice is duly served.

We covet your prayers and support to ensure that Aisha is reunited with her family. Kindly pray for the Northern Christians especially the families whose daughters have been abducted, forced into Islam and marriage. Northern Nigeria is becoming hell for Christians to live in.

Former heavyweight champion, Evander Holyfield

American boxing legend, Evander Holyfield is reportedly set to make a return to boxing for the first time in a decade to face Kevin McBride.

Sports Illustrated reports that the former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight boxing champion will face McBride in an eight-round exhibition on the undercard of Triller's June 5 pay-per-view event, which will feature Teofimo Lopez defending his unified lightweight titles against George Kambosos in the main event.

The 58-year-old, whose last fight in the boxing ring came in May 2011 will be hoping to defeat Kevin McBride after Mike Tyson recently revealed his plans to fight him and Lennox Lewis this year.

'I want Holyfield and I want Lennox Lewis this year,' Tyson revealed on his Hotboxin' Podcast.

'I want both of them, I want to get them both this year. I also want to box an exhibition with Tyson Fury.

Atiku Abubakar is not qualified to run for president, he's not a Nigerian my birth - AGF, Abubakar Malami tells court

Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), has told a Federal High court in Abuja that former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, is not eligible to run for president in Nigeria.

Malami alongside the Incorporated Trustees of the Egalitarian Mission for Africa (EMA), filed a suit before the court challenging the eligibility of Atiku to run for president on the platform of the PDP in the 2019 election.

In the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/177/2019 and filed before the court, Malami and others through their counsel, Oladipo Okpeseyi, asked the court to hold among others, that considering the provisions of sections 25(1) &(2) and 131(a) of the constitution and the circumstances surrounding his birth, the former vice-president cannot contest for the top office.

The AGF argued that Atiku is not a Nigerian citizen by birth.

“The first defendant (Atiku) is not qualified to contest to be president of the federal republic of Nigeria. The first defendant is not a fit and proper person to be a candidate for election to the office of president of the federal republic of Nigeria.

The first defendant was born on the 25th of November, 1946 at Jada, at the time in Northern Cameroon. By the plebiscite of 1961, the town of Jada was incorporated into Nigeria.

The first defendant is a Nigerian by virtue of the 1961 plebiscite, but not a Nigerian by birth. The first defendant’s parents died before the 1961 plebiscite.” the AGF said

Malami said the effect of the June 1, 1961 plebiscite was to have the people of Northern Cameroon integrated into Nigeria as new citizens of the country, even after Nigeria’s independence.

“This qualified all those born before the 1961 plebiscIte as citizens of Nigeria, but not Nigerian citizen by birth. Consequently, only citizens born after the 1961 plebiscite are citizens of Nigeria by birth” he said

Citing the provisions of 1960, 1963, 1979 and 1999 constitutions, Malami said the “reasoning of the lawmakers in ensuring that the persons to be the president of Nigeria is a citizen of Nigeria by birth is because such a person is the number one citizen and the image of the Nigerian state”.

“This is even more so where his parents do not belong to any tribe indigenous to Nigeria until their death,” he said.

The facts of his (Atiku’s) birth on the Cameroonian territory to Cameroonian parents remain unchallenged.

At best, the first defendant can only acquire Nigerian citizenship by the 1961 plebiscite. The citizenship qualifications under Section 26 and 27 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999), by implication, has limited the first defendant’s privileges or rights and cannot be equal or proportional to the privileges of other citizens who acquire their citizenship status by birth.

This would include the legal preclusion of the first defendant from contesting for the office of the President of Nigeria.

If either his parents had become Nigerian citizen by virtue of Section 25(1) of the 1999 Constitution, which must be in compliance with Sections 26 and 27of the same constitution.

With no concrete proof of compliance, we submit that the first defendant cannot contest election to the office of the Nigerian President.”

The minister of justice said Atiku committed an offence under section 118(1)(k) of the Electoral Act when he contested and won the office of the vice-president in 1999.

Atiku and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on which platform he contested the last election, have asked the court to dismiss the suit for lacking in merit.

In their notice of objection filed jointly, they insisted that Atiku is “a bonafide citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria”.

Atiku also said besides serving as Nigeria’s vice-president from 1999 to 2007, he held many public and private offices, including serving as governor of Adamawa state and was a commissioned officer of the Nigerian Customs Service. He said his parents, grandparents and great grandparents were born in Nigeria and they lived, died as Nigerians and were buried in Nigeria.

The former Vice President told the court that the suit was filed in bad faith in an attempt to malign his person and integrity.

The presiding judge, Inyang Ekwo, fixed May 4 to hear the suit.

Fathers in Utah, US, now legally required to pay half of pregnancy costs

A new bill passed in Utah, U.S. will require biological fathers in the state to pay for half of the out-of-pocket costs of pregnancy.

The bill, sponsored by Republican state Representative Brady Brammer was signed by Governor Spencer Cox after receiving widespread support from lawmakers in the state.

The bill now requires fathers to pay 50% of a mother's insurance premiums while she is pregnant and pregnancy-related medical costs, including the hospital birth of the child.

According to the legislation, if paternity is disputed, the father of the child owes no money until paternity is established.

The bill also states that if a mother receives an abortion without the biological father's consent, the biological father owes no money, unless the abortion is necessary to avert the death of the mother or if the mother was pregnant as a result of rape or incest.

Utah appears to be the only state to mandate pre-birth support, according to Brammer and the state's Planned Parenthood association
